Re: General Discussion
With the way he worded it, it sounds like Wizards don't need to prepare spell slots. If that is the case I can leave my Spellbook somewhere safe (Like on Jaggerbad or something or in a secure room in the Feywild) so I can still use it to learn new spells (unless we don't need the book to learn new spells), but going into a combat encounter being able to cast like a Sorc.
I was actually going to go Rogue/Sorc at first but wanted the versatility, School Specialisations (Illusion Specialisation with Necromancy and Enchantment as barred schools) and ability to learn new spells that a Wizard has. Plus Arcane Bond is a really nice Class Feature. too since it is basically a free spell slot of any level for your Specialised School (I'm an Illusionist, good god this is going to be fun).
That ruling is kind of insane since if we ever find a scroll, Mez and I can just learn what is on it when we can get back to our books and be able to cast it from then on.

In other words... Im letting Wizards keep their enormous pool of spell choices but allow them to remember and cast spells like Sorcerers.
