Everyone wants to slap you for delaying us for a week and then not turning up.
Lili had to be the party face because Armando was a bit busy and you weren't around to ask things that Arnamdo and I forgot to ask.
Lili got to look a shiny shiny key mid battle.
Apparently Theron's Deity doesn't frown upon animal cruelty.
We found a mad old lady that Jarre keeps trying to murder to put in his sack.
We finally got to fight some Gobbies and Jarre finally got his one shot on a Goblin meaning that the only person who hasn't one shot something is Adam's character.
Adam spoke through two of my turns though Yyg was only mean enough to time me out on one since Adam was nice enough to leave me with 3 second to decide on a move.
We fought a Gelatinous Cube and NAW is out of 2nd level spells. He got to so some serious damage with some Flaming Sphere antics though.
Lili got to kill a Gelatinous Cube with a Shovel (scoring a crit in one hit).
I ended up having to track 3 characters at once at 1am and several beers in my system, with a 30 second time limit for each action.
Armando's helicopter has gone but is replaced with some crazy people yelling in Spanish.
We kept getting slowed down because people kept speaking over me or yelling at Adam for randomly declaring actions when I tried to channel you to move things along.

Oh and I also wasted a natural 20 on a Knowledge (Arcana) check on painting that was probably rigged to summon that Gelatinous Cube the second someone examines it or comes into proximity of it (Yyg did ask how close I was going to stand to it to study it).
Blob is dead. Yyg had to go at the end of the fight but let us pull off a Persona style All Out Attack because it would have been dead in 2 more rounds anyway

I'm a planner. I need things planned. The important notice thread wasn't updated and all that was said was things were going to be delayed until around 1pm saturday. It was stated that it would be updatred saturday, and I was cool with that. I checked saturday at 10:30 and nothing and then again around 1:10pm, and saw nothing. saturdays are my day to do whatever i wish. I wasn't going to sit around and hope people would hop online. My dad called and the Redskins preseason game was starting and he wanted to watch it with me. So I watched the game with my Dad. I did miss it though! I'm glad the NAW was able to do some damage and I'm sad Adam fucked more shit up.
Yyg added the 30 sec per player turn to help expedite the campaign, I think this is huge and made a great improvement in streamlining the gameplay. It's along these same line that I believe we should split the loot after each battle and talk intelligently among oursleves on which loot is best suited for which player. Up until now, this has not been a problem and we have made good decisions on deciding who should carry what loot based upon each player's character. This idea of "we need to hurry up and loot whatever dead we can to get and hoard whatever treasure is available" is moronic and will only slow down game play. Along the same lines of Yyg initiating a 30 sec turn based action, it is my believe that we should not hurry to the dead to loot them and who ever gets there first wins. That's fucking stupid and will derail the gameplay as it did today. I did what I did to prove a point, we are not engaging in D&D sessions to fight each other, but to play our characters and move towards a common goal which is set forth by the party. That goal is ever-changing and is discussed throughout the campaign, voted upon, and then the party moves along the scenario. If you guys really want to fight for loot, fine, I'm cool wih that, but I really think it will detract from the campaign Yyg has put together, and will ultimately divide us as a party and could eventually end the campaign for certain indiviaduals. I'm not sure about you guys, but I enjoy defeating monsters as a party, and venturing forth, as a party, determing the best course of action as a party. Again, if you want to play this out as each character for themselves fine, but it will result in some characters wanting something, some characters getting killed (or knocked unconscious as happended today) and a line divided among the party. I'm up for a vote as to which course of action the party would like to take, but keep in mind the decision could result in certain members getting killed and alienating other members.
A point that can be resolved out of character, or addressed by Yyg (e.g. we mysteriously stop finding Rogue items). In-game, all you achieved is piss off the entire party. I foresee a lot of non-lethal damage in your character's future.
EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I agree that splitting the loot is best. I'm just saying your attempt at diplomacy was particularly poor.

Because that's twice you tried to stop me and failed... Keep that in mind next time... I see alot of poor rolls and your dwarf eating more dirt in its future if you continue your current line of actions. You're lucky i chose not to continue the scuffle you started...
Diplomacy was not what I was aiming for. The greed for loot and the loss of plotline was too much and I wanted to end it, and that I did. For that, everything I did worked out the way I wanted to. It might not have been diplomatic, but it was successful. Again, my point is made, we should vote if we want to be at each others throats on upcoming sessions for loot, or if we want to act as a party with a common goal and mission. I vote for the later. Voice your vote here.

To repeat what I already said, I want us to be a party and act together for the good of the party. I thought that's what we were doing until today, when we started racing for the dead, trying to loot whatever we could out of greed. I prefer we all play together, and act in the good of the party, not for the greed of an individual. If we do chose to continue under the notion of greed, then lets go ahead and kill each other off until only a select few are left. This is just an entirely different gameplan that I had intended, or what I think Yyg has wanted for his D&D sessions. But I'll go for whatever the party votes for, I'm game...

I have 33 HP and 2 heals left. I also have Step Up, so you have no way of casting safely once I'm in range. How many times do you think you can push your luck? Let me remind you that you've also aggroed Lyulf and Firewind. I don't need to solo you.
But I'll go for whatever the party votes for, I'm game...
I agree. But you need to take that up in-game in a way that doesn't involve flaunting your e-penis and knocking party members unconscious.
But you need to take that up in-game in a way that doesn't involve flaunting your e-penis and knocking party members unconscious.
It has nothing to do with "e-penis" whatever that is. It has to do with if we want to play as a party, we don't run towards the dead as fast as we can, loot whatever we can, then try a sleight of hand to palm whatever treasure we find... Again, that is greed, and not party play, and actually not something I'd want to be a part of. I'll do whatever the group decides on though, for as long as we manage to stay a group, but it's not my preference.
The DnD campaign you guys are playing sounds pretty intense. The only real DnD experience I've had was with a small group of friends. D:
Our party is a bunch of misfits as far as things go though. I'm a fairly well-mannered Assassin, my brother's a gold-loving Elven Cleric, my friend is a Changeling Necromancer, and his friend, who we all despise, is some goody-Paladin who fails so hard at math that he actually thought hitting for 20+ damage per hit at level 2 with one of his at-will attacks that he can use every turn was correct. (It turns out he was adding whatever bonuses he had to his roll against something, like +5 vs AC, to his damage rolls as well, not to mention some other crazy shit that makes no sense).
At least you guys seem to have some rules set in stone.
