They're only focusing on planetary combat :/

Any interest I could have mustered was lost right there. The last iteration of the series, which was in 2009, let us fight on land and then take to the skies and space - on PSP, even.

So this is a huge step back, but hey, it looks prettier, right?

This should be compared to the first Star Wars Battlefront game. It did not have space battles either.

It took Pandemic Studios two games before they added space fights, mew.
Like Pandemic Studios first attempt, DICE is choosing quality over quantity, and besides they are timing the release with the movie,
so not stuffing space maps to this shows they don't want to rush and cater to everything but being a master at nothing, this is too costly
to afford another delay of development, mew.

This is a new start for Star Wars Battlefront, and they made this from scratch, not copy and pasting what Battlefront 2 built, mew.
The new Battlefront already has things much better than Battlefront 2, mew. And 20 players vs 20 players is better than 12 vs 12.
You know with this franchise, it will be an ongoing videogame series and they will look towards adding space battles eventually; there are still
Episode VIII and Episode IX to generate more interest and incentive for sequels.
