Oh ok. I thought you meant that it was too late to get a free copy of the PC version for donating, or something.

Yeah that's insane that they hit the 900k in a day. I wonder what the Capcom execs are thinking right now - maybe, just maybe, that cancelling MML3 was a very bad idea?

Robot Masters Mighty No. 7 and 8 are a go, and they just broke the stretch goal for Linux/Mac versions. Next up: New Game+ and Turbo Mode.

Love all the Capcom hate going around lately too.

Just makes this all the sweeter. Honestly, even if they DID make a new MM game now, I'd probably skip it - it's too late now. They had their chance, and now we're all going to prove to them how wrong they've been all these years.

It seems like he's in utter disbelief of how quickly he got funded.

I'm hoping WayForward's Shante Kickstarter goes at least half as well - they've already made nearly 50k of their 400k goal and the first day isn't over yet.

WF has made over 200 games, but most have been licensed and relatively few were ever original IPs. Shantae is their most popular original IP.

The GBC original happened to be published by Capcom, you know, back when they took risks.

Wait, they're doing a kickstarter? I gotta check that out. I love Mighty Switch Force and the little I saw of the DSi Shantae game reminded me a lot of Monster World IV in a good way.

And we got Turbo Mode & NG+ - goddamn this project is taking off like a rocket.

Stupid Capcom, bunch of old dinosaurs...

They lowered the PS3/360/Wii U stretch goal by 300k and a couple of studios have already volunteered to do 3DS and Vita versions of Mighty No. 9. Renegade Kid was eager to do a 3DS version.
