Because bringing three great RPGs to NA gamers on the 3DS this year wasn't enough, Atlus is also bringing over a full remake of the original Etrian Odyssey this year. This version of the game will retain its original default scenario and setting, but for those that need a story, voice-over, an anime intro and fleshed-out characters rather than use their imaginations, Atlus now has you covered as well with a Story Mode.

From what I understand the new Story Mode will allow players to learn skills from other classes since those per-determined characters have set classes. In Classic Mode you'll still do the class progression as you did in the original.
Yuzo Koshiro will also be reworking the soundtrack similar to the live instrumental tracks found in EOIV, but for fans of the FM Synthesis tracks in the original game, you'll have the option to select that as well, which is nice because I liked those quite a bit.
