I'm fairly pleased with how the remaster looks. Let's just hope it doesn't take them as long to get the remaster of FFXII together. I'm surprised they're still stalling on the Vita price of each game, though.

They are probably stalling because the price will be the same for both consoles.

The Vita versions are two separate games rather than the HD collection they are on PS3.

I didn't even know they were planning to add a re-arranged soundtrack for this version. That updated battle theme sounds really great!

Wish SE would give us a release date, my PS Vita is ready.

Agree, I like the remixed battle theme a lot. Very much looking forward to this HD remix!

Hmm, it sounded a little off at first, but not a bad remix.

I'm frankly more impressed with just how nicely they managed to touch up the game - the visuals are so much smoother and well defined. Only thing I didn't like tbh was the updated Roster menu on the side; I actually find the original portraits look better.

Still, I'm looking forward to buying this. Now bring us FFXII International already, I want my Zodiac Job System!

Well, SE broke the silence to make it official - FFX HD collection is coming sometime this winter. When pressed for additional specifics, they stated that it would probably be a cold day.

Confirmed for Dec. 26... in Japan.

FFX-2 prologue, Eternal Calm, will be included along with FFX-2 International's content, Last Mission and the two dress spheres it added.

Looks like Square-Enix is now tying together the PS Vita versions of FFX and FFX-2 HD as well.

Final Fantasy X And X-2 HD Won't Be Sold Separately On Vita

The Vita version comes as either a digital bundle with separate downloads of FFX and FFX-2, or a physical card for FFX plus a download code for FFX-2.
