NG3 is bad -.- before the extra WiiU stuff was added -.- Also not every game needs CO-OP!.... god I found out that there is online play in the new Tomb Raider game...... why?!

In other Wii U postponement news, the release for Aliens: Colonial Marines has been postponed indefinitely.

That's Nintendo dodging a bullet though. People are convinced Gearbox shipped them the alpha build.

Many people will play co-op/multiplayer if they find it fun. Randoms or friends, online play does make things better for a broader community of people, mew.
Also multiplayer worked for Uncharted 2, which had successful multiplayer (which copied some things from Tomb Raider), it can work for Tomb Raider also (though I agree the multiplayer could be more about Tomb Raider group exploration/puzzles/fighting wild creatures than just a shooter, but it's a popular theme anyway.)

Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge co-op will definitely be played daily by many fans online, mew. Co-op definitely extended the period of time that NG Sigma 2 was played. and Xbox 360 and PS3 have superior install base and online communities compared to Wii U, so online co-op will be more actively used. (yea there could be lag but there could be cases of smooth online play too!)

        Ya soloers can solo,

but they shouldn't object to co-op fans that enjoy co-op in Ninja Gaiden series.
Co-op does generate superior levels of entertainment and more incentives to keep playing it for more social and cooperative fans, mew. And Sigma 2 and Razor's Edge proves that co-op fits and is fun to many fans.

Enjoy buying some of that DLC content on PS3 and 360, btw, the same content is coming to Wii U for free.

That said, co-op or even things like difficulty settings in a game designed for single player or to be difficult runs the risk of compromising the whole package. Team Ninja is actually rather good about scaling difficulty, but they suck at co-op and Ryu's original weapon options were restricted to later be sold piecemeal with some DLC challenges. The DLC design - this desire to milk customers out of extra money, was actually the downfall of the game because it compromise the situational use of weapons game like this and Devil May Cry thrive on.

And as much as people might want to rip on DmC, it was not compromised in that regard.

Resident Evil 5 and 6 suffered for having co-op. RE is a series about being alone, outnumbered, outmatched and scraping by on supplies in very claustrophobic environments. RE5 and RE6 tossed every last on of those principels. RE; Revelations is a recovery because they brought back most of those things and your partner AI is a distraction with unlimited nerf bullets. So you will still have to peel off bullets to help them and that may draw aggro to you.

all the DLC is included at launch at no extra cost, mew.

And better than Wii U version, it's only $40 for the same content and adjustments Wii U adds.

            Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge on PS3 & 360 Isn't a $60 Title, Ninja Gaiden 3 Price Plummets

but regular NG3 is old news, Razor's Edge adds and fixes things. And co-op works great in Sigma 2. Razor's Edge is a giant leap forward.

Plus Ninja Trials now don't force partner a.i., so the 100 missions can be played solo, as well as online co-op. It's win/win case.

Resident Evil 5 and 6 suffered for having co-op.
Tell that to fans that still play it because of the co-op.

RE is a series about being alone, outnumbered, outmatched and scraping by on supplies in very claustrophobic environments.
Outbreak is group based and it's actually scarier and more survival horror than the traditional RE formula, mew. Outbreak games are arguably the best Resident Evil experiences, especially when it had online co-op servers.

Even this version has new DLC. All the DLC that came after the original PS3 and 360 release is included in the Wii U version and the new versions but the other DLC - like Kasumi's levels - are new DLC packs. They may be free on Wii U now, but bon't expect to get them for free if MS or Sony have anything to say about it. Or if TK thinks they can get away with it.

Considering how gullible PS3 and 360 gamers have become regarding DLC, i would not put it past any of them.

Konami did it with No More Heroes Paradise. Much of its "DLC" was content either cut from the original game or implemented from the Wii game's sequel. TK is pretty weird about how they do DLC - since you gobble up that Dynasty Warriors stuff all the time you should know this.

Re: Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor's Edge gets greater gameplay and content. PS3 and Xbox 360

It still is a fact that NG3 Razor's Edge for PS3 and Xbox360 will be super packed with content, more than 3 times content compared to the regular NG3, that is a big deal considering it's only selling for $40 (and most people skipped NG3, knowing this version would come eventually. )

If there is more DLC beyond what the disk is including from Wii U's Razor's Edge, that's even better. Some fans will buy what they want extra to it.
I think it's already a huge generous bonus that PS3 and XBox360 is including all the Wii U DLC, including 100 co-op missions and characters, at no extra cost.

Yes they might add more missions and characters to sell, but that is a good thing, people don't want just everything the Wii U received, but also more stuff for those willing to buy that extra stuff.

I didn't know Kasumi is getting extra DLC story missions, I might buy those if I feel like it, mew.

but the fact of the matter is the bigger and best DLC is being included on PS3/X360 disk at no extra charge, mew. (Ayane, Momiji, Kasumi, 100 co-op missions, Chapter Challenge, Ayane's missions, costumes.)
