More things about Friend Safari than I can confirm now I have it unlocked.

• The typing the actual Pokemon that you see depends on the friend code and can't be changed, even if that player restarts their game.
• They do NOT need Pokemon X/Y for you to be able to use them in Friend Safari
• You do NOT need to have interested with them ingame to get them on your list. They just need to be on your 3DS friend list.
• There is 1-3 Pokemon for each person. You get all 3 if they have beaten the Elite Four
• If they are Online when you use their Safari, then wild Pokemon will have their hidden ability!
• All Wild Pokemon are guaranteed to have 2 IV's of 31
• You can get evolved starters such as Charlemeon, Wartortle, Quilladin etc
• You use your own Pokemon and balls
• You don't have a set time to catch stuff. You can spend as long as you want there.

My old college roommate has Wartotle in his. I got myself a Bold Rain Dish Blastoise with 31 in Defence and HP IVs to use in UU :3

I would flip my tables if these Friend Safari Pokémon were generated in a similar manner to the ones generated on the Cinnabar Missingno strip.

And I still generated Pidgeotto somehow.

They are generated by your 3DS Friend Code. It can't be changed. So if your Friend Code causes Fire Types to appear and Charmeleon, Combusken and Monferno appear, they will always appear unless you buy another 3DS.

Also you need to actually connect to the internet ingame to get people on your 3DS friend List to appear ingame. No need to add them or even interact with them if they are already on there. Just click the blue Wi Fi thing on the PSS and it will automatically populate your Friend List with online friends who are ingame,

I only have 2 badges at the moment. The new Super Training feature makes one weary of going forward with the game to give them undesirable EVs.

Don't worry too much about it. Reset Bags are an uncommon drop. So just have fun with the game and don't worry about EV Training until you have a team you feel that you want to use online. Most matches are 3v3 capped at Lv50. You get boosted or level synced if you are over or under.

The competitive community are the only ones that go for unrestricted so I think you are most likely to run across regular players.
