I was pretty disappointed Black/White missed the bus for 3D, so I'm glad they're making use of it this time around.

Yeah as much as I love Froakie, Fennekin may well end up being a Fox Pokemon that doesn't completely suck in multiplayer.

EDIT: Then again he's a Fire Type so needs a resistance to Stealth Rock to be viable in Multiplayer so I'm hoping it gets a decent dual typing.

Yeah as much as I love Froakie, Fennekin may well end up being a Fox Pokemon that doesn't completely suck in multiplayer.

Ninetales found a place in Gen V weather teams thanks to starting Sunny Day on switch-ins like Groudon.

EDIT: Then again he's a Fire Type so needs a resistance to Stealth Rock to be viable in Multiplayer so I'm hoping it gets a decent dual typing.

It'll probably end up being another Fire/Fighting.

I'm going with Chespin. I believe he's the first grass started to also be a mammal, which might take a grass type in a different direction for once.

Plus it looked like he skinned another Grass Type and is wearing it.

Leafeon and Deerling/Starling are grass type mammals.

And I forgot about the Weather thing due to Rain teams being more common in OU, but Groudon starts Sunny weather, I think you meant Kyogre Armando.

Ninetales starts Sunny weather just like Groudon. It helps counter Rain teams without resorting to Sandstorm or Hail. Rain teams are particularly dangerous because Water types are like Normal types on steroids and Swift Swim makes for easy sweeps. Also, Kingdra has no weaknesses other than Dragon.

It wasn't just Kingdra, rain teams turned Pokemon like Dragonite, Starmie into complete and utter game breakers.

Well, there was some balance to it when you had to use Rain Dance because it would eventually run out, but Drizzle is just too powerful.

But yeah. I wouldn't mind it being a pure Fire-type, but if speculation that Fennekin will be going Psychic actually leads anywhere, well . . . it'd be an amusing way to one up all those Fire/Fighting guys. (Hipster Charizard beat Fighting-types before it was cool, though.)
