  • Liberation Maiden gameplay

Supposed to be coming to Nintendo eShop soon, its by Grasshopper Studios, which also put out Sine Mora for XBLA are also known for No More Heroes and Lollipop Chainsaw:

Looks kinda Dreamcast-y. Suda 51 directed this one.

As for Japan's future electoral process - if it didn't come with an environment-replenishing mech, I'd question it.

Yeah, it certainly has gotten those comments elsewhere. I think that's a good thing. Acting's better in this, though.

Sweet ... I just need another DSi unit ... my daughter has an iron death grip on hers.

        Nvm ... for 3DS? Bleh ...

The story sounds like it has elements of Guilty Crown.

This is one of three games that has be broken off from a collaboration Level 5 had with other studios. The Japanese release is Guild 01 and comprises four games, but as has become the trend for 3DS and Vita some Japanese releases are now just released digitally to save money. The other real game of note is Crimson Shroud, which is by Matsuno of FFXII, Tactic Ogre, and Vagrant Story. It seems to be designed around how tabletop RPGs, right down to rolling sixteen-sided dice

3DS eShop has a fairly strong line-up for this fall and winter. I wish Nintendo would be just a touch more forthcoming about those GBA games, though, because their Austrailan site leaked they were coming.

As for Liberation Maiden, it should hit US and EU about the same time.

Took it for a spin after downloading it. The graphics are nothing too fancy, but thanks to that there's a very high, smooth framerate that sticks at 60 FPS pretty consistently. Overall it plays like a blend of Kid Icarus Uprising and Panzer Dragoon. It has the control scheme of KIU, but you have to drag, hold and release the styles to fire on one or more targets after a lock.

Its clearly not meant to be a long game, but so far it seems pretty fun and fits perfectly into the shump genre. Good soundtrack so far, too.

An iOS version of the game appeared on the New Zealand version of the iOS AppStore today - I shudder to think how it controls in a touch-only version, though, since the 3DS version's controls are pretty complex,
