Lulz I had a big post about Blitzball features but the Forum Monster ate it.

So, short version:

- Games should be viewable by other players.
- Stadium for it.
- Replay files so other players can replay them at will at some sort of archive (like the theater in X.)
- BGM selection for matches.
- 1st and 3rd person perspective available.
- Unlockable moves and stamina requirements for special moves (offensive and defensive.)
- Stats completely independent from main game stats.

Etc. etc.


PS > If I take that extended vacation maybe I should make a Blitzball mod for Fallout. <_<

I have one.

I've never actually played any of the Megaman series and I can name 3 people IRL who would freak if I ever admitted that to them.

If you ever get to play them get Megaman X if you can. It's my favorite game in the entire series, with Megaman 2 in 2nd place.

There's even a PSP collection/bundle that includes a remake of the original Megaman along with a Megaman X.

Not sure if it's available outside Japan though, I imported mine. <_<;

I'll second the recommendation for Megaman X. I don't know if it's the best in the series, but it's a great introduction to the franchise.

Mega Man 2 is still the best in the entire series.

X and X4 were both amazing as well though.

This is nostalgia talking. There's nothing wrong with it, but there's nothing in the game mechanics, presentation or (almost non-existent) story that makes it stand above Mega Man X. Even within the classic series, Mega Man 7 and 8 are better games.

EDIT: Hell, Mega Man 2 doesn't even have sliding. Mega Man 3 had sliding, Proto Man and harder versions of all the Mega Man 2 robot masters.
