Re: Sleeping Dogs
XD
I gotta say it's funny how I went from squeaky clean cop not wanting to kill anyone unless I really, seriously, honestly didn't have any other choice to "Oh, this is personal now." And packing guns and/or a golden cleaver (plus a shotgun from police car's trunk) at all times to kill anyone standing in my way.
I still avoid killing civilians at all costs though, but everyone else is doomed.sigpic

And I just finished the game. It was pretty good but there was a lack of sidequests in the final parts of the story. It needed some more of everything (races, sidequest, clothes, environment interaction), not because there weren't quite a few things to do but because you can't replay many of them and they are fun. And so many loose ends, sometimes it felt like a piece or two were missing between missions. Specially considering how much there was in the beginning. So either DLC or lack of time which will lead to content DLC down the road.
Either way it was fun and I'll spend some time replaying the stuff I can, plus it adds to the main save. Time to get all the lockboxes and collections since I can use all of it on the replays.
PS > And it definitely needed more Sandra.sigpic

Re: Sleeping Dogs
I liked this review because of the beginning.
He makes valid points about the story, but as I mentioned before considering how many loose ends were left completely untouched I'm almost certain the story was handled that way so they could sell the Mission DLCs later on. Which depending on your personal opinion and enjoyment of the game may significantly increase/decrease your annoyance once said DLCs appear.
Either way hopefully Squeenix will handle it Bethesda style and NOT EA-style. <_<sigpic

That's so 2006. XD

Speaking of horse armor, the first Sleeping Dogs DLC was so underwhelming it may as well had been called The Triad Horse Armor pack. <_<;sigpic

Horse armor is a pretty good analogy.
