That's very odd. I played the shit out of Kirby's Canvas Curse and while it eventually left light marks on the screen, it was nothing you would call a scratch.

The protective screen was scratched up (those cheap accessory you can get for like $2 or something) The actual screen, I have no idea, I should go and peel off the protective screen and replace it with a new one. Incidentally, her DSi has no scratches and it doesn't have a protective screen, and she has had it just as long as she had the older DS unit (which I'm now the owner of) Which is pretty amazing, considering the kinds of games she plays on it, like Pokemon Ranger, which essentially just asks you to abuse your stylus lol.

Regarding censorship:

Fils-Aime also had good news regarding the announced content filtering system. It turns out that messages that aren't flagged by an automatic scan won't be subject to manual scanning. If a message is flagged by that, and then by the community, then Nintendo steps in.

I'm pretty sure it's a typo though that said my little sister has managed to break a stylus before though to be fair she did have a habit of chewing the things.

And my sister has already been through one DS though that is mostly due to a 10 year old girl (at the time, she's 12 now), not really knowing any better and learning the hard way to look after your expensive electronic gear. She actually learned pretty well and takes good care of her Wii, DSi, phone and laptop.

Yes I am pretty jealous that I never got any gadgets as cool as that when I was 12.
