My starter ship re-imagined.



And the Escort I got last night.

I'm way better playing on an Escort than on a cruiser, and with an Escort it's actually fun to rotate shields when the time to run comes.

Can't wait to get an Akira (and then a Defiant.)


PS > It's amazing how much dmg I'm able to deal in this thing. When I get the second weapon bay (Akira) I'm loading 2 Quatum MK VI mines if I can. Ohohoho

Crystaline Entity destruction Mission - Very hard especially when people don't listen to fleet leaders on tactics. If you hit the shards that fly out they split into smaller shards and rush back to the entity healing the entity. You can only kill it with energy weapons other weapons cause AOE effects which split the shards causing the entity to regenerate....

I tried soloing a Dreadnaught when everyone left the Gorn Minefield because they got pwned for trying to kill everything that moved while I was all the way to the other side of the map trying to actually complete the instance.



End result: A tie. Neither could kill the other so we called it a night after more than an hour of shooting at each other. XD

And Akira GET! Man such a good looking ship.



I may be forced to scrap the second mine launcher after realizing it only saves 8 seconds between deployments, and that I have to alternate clicking on each to deploy. It's way more practical to leave one on autofire while fighting instead and replacing the other mine with a dual phaser array and/or a torpedo launcher since I can exploit weakened shields while turning around to get into position to fire the next 3x Heavy cannon volley if needed. <_<;

Admiral, have you tried any good Foundry missions? Any recommendations?

I'm pretty overloaded with stuff to do (and disconnects just add more time to it <_<; ) and I doubt I'll be able keep sleeping 3-4 hours for long but some of them seem pretty nice.

The game is getting better, but I'm noticing quite some people getting more into the min/max'ing than the Trek at higher levels. Even though the Trek part keeps getting better and better. XD

Last night I was running this mission that was pretty nice. Had some Alien'ish moments and was directly connected to an episode of TNG and the follow up will be in the past. Pretty fun stuff for a game I didn't have many expectations about.

Ah yes the Devidan they make casual cameos in many missions in the future as aswell as the undine and a few other surprises. (I am currently just start the cardassian storyline now after completing both Klingon and romulan story arcs)

As well as being a Star Fleet captain from lvl 20 (or 25 forgotten which) you can use your free second character slot in the Klingon defense force. Heres my alien, a small chap but good in ground combat as people have to aim down all the time lol!. And with it my Klingon Bird of Prey. (and yes I have finally installed fraps free version)

Still not sure about the paint job, but so far it's been pretty nice playing with it. Although I tend to fall back to the Defiant when fighting Borg missions.

I love the damage but the shots look so freaking puny compared to Polaron or Phaser. XD

Defiant Retrofit is awesome, specially with a nice M.A.C.O. XI set installed.

Well done on getting lvl 50, I decided to bite the bullet and buy some crypto credits and got myself an oddessy class and have started to subscribe as have got alot of enjoyment from the game so got another federation captain levelling up in tactical mode.

The oddesy is cool because it has a small fightership that launches from the rear and fights along side of you.

Thanks, it really didn't feel like I was leveling. Specially since my like for the Romulan temple sped things up quite a bit. XD

I'm now playing main storyline missions, just finished the Klingon storyline and currently playing Romulan missions. And their explanation for the forehead fix was good all things considered.

If they keep improving the game and there aren't any sketchy events from PW I may even consider getting a life sub. It's cheaper in the long run and you get cryptic points every month so that would also help to unlock stuff if I'm actually planning on playing long term once they increase the level cap.

In the mean time at least connectivity has improved in the past few days. That is why I got the Defiant, if I was still getting disconnected I would've skip that purchase.

I've nearly finished the cardasian story arc and doing alot of the STF missions to get borg parts for weapons upgrades.
