Laptop gaming table

I was google searching a laptop table that's suitable for gaming, then thought to myself, why not check with you guys! I have a 19" gaming laptop and I've been playing SWTOR on it strictly using the keyboard and the integrated mouse. I've been laying no my side o the couch and pulling up the coffee table all the way to the edge of the couch, and putting the laptop on the edge. I can play for a bit that way, but after a while i get a twinge in my side. I have a recliner type of chair I rally like, and it would be nice if i could find some sort of table that would allow me to recline in the chair and play with the laptop on a table over my lap. The recliner is comfortable, but is from IKEA, so its made of wood with padding, so the tables i've seen where they slide under the bed / chair wouldn't work because there isn't enough clearance for it to slide under the recliner. If I was to think of an ideal table, it would have legs on each side of the table, and I'd just adjust the height of it so i could slide my chair under it and it would be right in my lap. It seems like a snag I've been finding is most dont "accomodate" a 19" laptop. Anyways, any of you guys use anything similar? Any suggestions? Thanks!

I do the EXACT same thing as you with the sofa and coffee table if I have the house to myself XD. This is why I don't really use my laptop for gaming unless it's a point and click game or supports a pad.

I understand what you're describing but it does sound difficult to get something like that. A lot of computer desks have a sliding shelf thingy for the keyboard though so maybe loo kfor a table with something like that?

Yeah. I have a feeling im not the only one with this problem, and actually, knowing you do the exact same thing makes me LOL and know I'm not alone. I'm going to hit Best Buy and see if they have anything to offer...

So what you want is a mobile table with enough clearance to have your laptop sit above your lap in the recliner?

It's waaay better than gimmicky though. But... 800 bucks... orz

You could say the next generation will be the real thing, cheaper and 1080p. If you have the chance to visit a Sony store they may still have them on display. You'll see.





PS > But never mind that, the only reason I didn't get them at the time was my headphones are way better. I mean the device's headphones are pretty good, specially with uncompressed sound from BDs, but nowhere near as good as my current PC setup. And I realized I kinda look at my keyboard more than I thought while playing games.
