Well as everyone knows PSO2 is coming, here is your chance to mess around with the character creation and even try and get into the beta. I feel I might be done with MMORPGs, but I want to try and still play the MORPG, and dungeon crawlers.

Install: No alternate download that I could find, sorry -.-

Patch: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9259868/pso2...ranslation.rar

Take the three patched files from the .RAR file and place them in the directory:

x86 bit OS
C:\Program Files\SEGA\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2_CHARACTERCREATOR\pso2charactercreator_bin\data\win32
x64 bit OS
C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2_CHARACTERCREATOR\pso2charactercreator_bin\data\win32

over right the existing files and your done, you should now have English PSO2CC ^.^

Now your next step to fan crazed insanity, is to sign up for the beta!

They really advanced the character creation, mew! I remember PSO on Dreamcast, it had like the most revolutionary character creation system on console (and maybe PC.)

It's even better than PSU, because instead of a premade character, PSO's story you can use your own created character as the main protagonist (kind of like The Elder Scrolls, etc.)

depends on their PC hardware/graphics settings?

some shared photos that look more detailed. When it comes to PCs, not all comps use optimized graphics settings.

no they dont, not in closed beta, they look a good bit better then in that video (that as the benchmark/cc demo)

I also made a video, had to cut it down because I wanted it at around 6 mins, but it will give you the idea of a easy mission. (it was my last one I wanted to do before CB ended *sniff*)
Also made this video at midnight...so yes it is a bit sloppy, also the first video I ever made/edited for a youtube upload

The character models in Kailea's screenshot reminds me a lot of Star Ocean 4's model/texture. And I'm going to make a bold prediction that 10% of all new characters created will be in the likeness of Miku Hatsune.

link is dead? works for me.... let me check its settings and it is funny yeah, that person had that Miku character when I was fighting the Dragon, was entertaining.

oh that link, yeah it is down now it seems, that was the original Japanese site link to the character demo. I will edit it to see if I can find another

if you can't...I have the file, though it's about 456mb compressed, so I would need to find somewhere to upload it to. I'll probably try dropbox or something if it comes down to it.
