So X-Play has confirmed that Halo 4 will see armor abilities make a return, and on top of that Halo 4 will be the first game to feature fully customizable loadouts.
Some people already QQ that it's going to become "CoD in Space" but I don't really see that happening. It's still going to be a Halo game, with weapons on map etc I'm sure - they're just taking what they did with Reach to the next level, and Reach was pretty damn fun (armor lock aside).
Besides I sincerely doubt that 343 will be stupid enough to let people spawn with crap like the Spartan Laser or Rocket Launcher. I imagine shotgun & sniper will be as strong as it gets, though some people are disgustingly accurate with that damn rifle.
