The Simpsons Arcade XBLA release date confirmed • News • Eurogamer.net
"The Simpsons Arcade re-release lands on Xbox Live Arcade on 3rd February, publisher Konami has announced.
That's a full five days before PlayStation Network customers can pick it up.
PlayStation Plus subscribers had been due to get a head start on the game from today, but Sony announced this morning that the game had been delayed "to be in line with the game's release on Xbox Live Arcade and in SCEA."
The updated version on Konami's fondly-remembered 1991 coin-op includes four player online co-op and four separate game modes, including a survival mode that challenges you to stay alive as long as possible with just one life and, conversely, Free Play, which gives you unlimited continues.
You'll also be able to unlock the never-before-seen Japanese version of the game, view classic flyers and posters, and a guide to the various Springfield residents featured in the title. "
That is a good addition, mew! Much better than X-Men, but not better than D&D ToD and SoM.
the only miffed thing is there might not be fullscreen option. >.> (maybe options have screen stretch/fullscreen settings without borders?)
