Re: What was your favorite Boss Fight?
In order of what the hell comes to my mind first...
General Raam from Gears of War 1 was pretty freaking tough... I don't remember playing him on anything but the most difficult of the difficulty settings but, man... that bastard made me work for that win. In contrast Gears2 had one of the sh!tt!est end bosses I've ever encountered. Not there yet in Gears3.
Link's shadow from Legend of Zelda II ... one of the first controller bending/breaking moments I remember is coming across that a-hole. I think I am still intimidated when I'm playing a game and my shadow/evil-version shows up... I instantly feel paranoid.
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (or w/e) ... the Tigrex. Yeah you end up pwning him later like he's a little bitch but when my buddy and I first came across him we were ripped apart several times before we came up with strategies that worked.
Glados from Portal ... just one of the most memorable bosses I've ever encountered. Not necessarily hard but her/his/it's dialogue was amazing.
Promathia... even though I had lvl'd SAM to get past the airship battle, my group insisted I tank that big bright sissy on DNC. After listening to so many people that DNC was useless it really felt good to prove all the nay-sayers wrong at least to myself... and Prishe.
Ninja Gaiden 1's (NES) final boss.... I never beat him and I never will. There are not enough controllers in the world to survive my frustration in even getting to that !#@$!@#%$@#%^&^*^&#$!#%$!@#$!@#%^&*&^&*$.
Dark Souls had a few good ones. Hydra down below the tree, Smough/Ornstein, and Five(?) Kings were a pain in the ass. Not looking forward to any of those in NG+.
Every boss I've encountered in SotC is pretty amazing so far... and pretty difficult for me. I've never played SotC so I'm coming from knowing nothing about it.
Idk... there are just so many good bosses.
