Your personal woe or was this another Anonymous/LulzSec/4chan inspired raid on good ole Sony's database?

No, and it started up again actually..

Fucking PSN giving me download errors - everything works EXCEPT downloads off it.

@_@ of course now that I've finally gotten past all that, BF3 keeps either freezing, or I get DC'd from EA"s piece of shit servers.

Not off to a good start here.

Are you sure it's not an EA problem? I've been hearing about some people complaining about BF3 not working (for any platform) and that may or may not have anything to do with EA.

Yes, because I was able to download stuff off the store using my PSP, and it worked again when I plugged the cable into my PS3 rather than use the wireless (even though I got 95% signal strength...)

Why in the hell are you using wireless internet on your PS3? Ew. You can have "100% signal strength" and still get all kinds of terrible packet corruption.

By the by, my PS3 is wired, and I've had little to no problem with Battlefield 3 on it as far as connecting to PSN or the BF3 servers the past few days.

Because all 4 wired ports to my router are already in use.

Speaking of BF3, more people need mics, and DICE seriously has to push up the soft-kill barriers. Getting really sick of people spawn camping on either side, especially with vehicles. Some of the aircraft do entirely too much damage to the tanks too - how the hell does the machine gun on an AA-10 thunderbolt level an M1 Abrams in 2 seconds?! That's kinda the whole point of being in a tank - if a .50 call won't even dent the armor, wtf is a plane's minigun doing utterly destroying it? Missiles sure, but not bullets.

That's another thing too - they need to include a flight simulator omfg. I still can't fly anything in BF3 worth a crap. I had no problems in BC2 handling the helicopters, but I can't fly a damn thing in BF3. I can sorta manage the AA-10, but can't seem to turn it around nearly fast enough like I see everyone else do and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong...

The campaign mission was a complete joke for flight training as it's basically a rail shooter level.

Could never stand using wireless on PS2 and FFXI ... some people played with that though.
