It gets some use here and there throughout the adventure. I'm only a little bit ahead of you and its still getting used for various things, I'm actually fairly sure its about to get a bit more use.

Good to hear. I did recall one of the reviews saying all of the items are used regularly instead of just in one dungeon then forgotten. I like how you can run around while selecting items, and the moving-while-in-first-person thing has been used quite regularly by me as well. Also, the addition of the "run" feature, which is so seamless it seems it should've always been there, is making the game a lot more fun just to run around and jump on things. Great all-around improvements and I can't wait to play more tonight.

Ugh, last night was the first time I had to kinda 'endure' the quest to get to the next temple (4th temple). Let's just say I dislike having to retread my steps when there's hardly any changes to those steps.

Beat the game over the weekend, and all I can say is, awesome!!! Now it's time to play through with getting 100% of the items...

I took a little break from SS, which I didn't think was possible, but all the puzzles started to wear on me. Not in a bad way, just in that "Let's put this down and come back when I'm ready for it again" kind of way. Last Zelda to do that for me was Majora's Mask and I loved that one to pieces.

Bouncing between Skyrim and Zelda has proven to strike the right balance for now. Had this been Dark Souls and Zelda at the same time, I would have needed a third game to offset both. In Zelda's case I'm just scared to lose my shield, in Dark Souls you just fear everything.
