Or you could stop complaining and use all your new found free time to get a job, make some money, and buy a PS2.

I think the issue is more "Another thing taking up entertainment center space is undesireable when one thing could do the act of both" than being too lazy to get a job. Its not like jobs grow on trees these days - you take what you can get and there's really not much to get right now.

I got one a few weeks ago to go with my Gamestop job - its still nothing I could put my college degree towards.

yeah I have my 360, my PS3, and my Wii, now when Wii U comes out, I have bought a GC for my GC games..... Might have to get a PS2 when the PS4 comes out, and an Xbox when Xbox720 comes out ;p

What on earth was worthwhile on the original Xbox that hasn't gotten a re-release somewhere in some way shape or form? Halo 1, but the HD remake is coming later this year. Anything else? If you say something silly like Blood Wake I'll smack you.

GameCube and PS2 I can at least see waxing nostalgic over because of games that have gotten left in the dustbin of history (Rogue Squadron, Smash Bros, Dark Cloud, FFX, etc.), but the original Xbox... not so much.

It's a problem with gaming in general. If you ever want to go back and replay old titles you have to forever hoard all the old hardware for it, you can't rely on re-releases.

I know I can get some of these on other systems, but I wanted to have my collection varied a little, and I try to get only console versions of games, unless the PC is the only one that exists ;p

Well blow me down, I didn't even know they released a 4th Panzer Dragoon, let alone that it was on the Xbox.

JSRF I'm familiar with, and am still surprised we never saw anywhere else.

PDO was easily one of the prettiest and most colorful Xbox games I ever played. I'm not too great at rail shooters, but I was happy to see it happen all the same. It was all part of Sega's big third party push at the time, back when jokers were calling Xbox the Dreamcast 2.

I'd love to see Orta get ported to 3DS at some point, it would be a perfect fit for it.

Gun Valkyrie was also a good bit of fun. All of Smilebit's Xbox games were pretty cool stuff and the soundtracks alone were worth the price of entry.

I'd consider Gun Valkyrie the lesser of the three, though, the controls and analog clicking took a lot to get used to.

EU release, though. I imported and finished it well before Microsoft Game Studios did the port for Sega, Then when that happened i made a biiiiiiiiiiig fan thread on the Xbox IGN forums and got some PR guy at MS sent me an Shenmue II poster autographed by Yu Sukuki.

I also got a fan site kit, but never did anything with it, though I have all the files from that as well as the files I ripped for the Dreamcast version.

The EU version had Japanese voice as default and I think just on what I do know of japanese, the acting was on par with the English dub that came later. Which is to say not that great either way

Also, Steel Battalion and SB2 were rather memorable Xbox entries for me.

I heard about the Kinect sequel. What a wasted opportunity. If there was one game made for the Wii U's controller, it would be fucking Steel Battalion. You could map out everything on the touch screen instead of a game where you flap your arms and shit. Dunno if Nude Maker is on this Kinect version, but I'd rather them just do Infinite Space 2 for 3DS if they're not going to take Steel Battalion seriously anymore.
