I collect all my bounty notes, though, it makes me feel special and wanted.
When I first saw one, I immediately assumed it must be storyline related. Maybe the Thalmor. Or the Stormcloaks. Somebody upset that someone is going around doing something about the dragons. And I guess maybe it is? Maybe some angry Nord wants to teach my Barrow-looting Imperial ass a lesson? They certainly aren't happy about the whole Saarthal thing. Plus I'm an Imperial, so that just makes it all the worse. When I played a Nord, I had angry people trying to stab me yelling things like, "And you call yourself a Nord?!"

Of course, if it's just nothing, I'm saddened I can't pin the letters to my wall to reminisce over.

Is it odd I'm going to beat the mage school storyline tonight and the only spells i have, besides fast healing, is flames and frostbite? LOL!

On another note, where do I go to start the storyline for, ummm... fighters guild maybe? or to join an army?

Holy Smithing Skill Power Level Batman!

Just helped clear 2 mines in the Markath area. One had Gold ore veins. The other had Silver. And, being an Alteration character, I could transmute the silver ones into gold. Went back to town and turned a large stash of Gold Ores into about 25 Gold Ingots. Proceeded to turn that into jewelry and got mega Smithing levels. And septims.

ok, DUMB QUESTION! (hear that yyg?)

How do you turn the ore into ingots? I normally use the blacksmith station in Whiterun since its so accessible (first house you come to in the town) and i dont see how i can turn the ores into ingots. So I've just been selling the ores, and it sucks because the ores sell cheap...

There's a large smelter by War Maiden's. It looks like a big stone oven and is around the corner by the forge, just a little bit off to the side.

                            Yesterday/Today in Skyrim:

Yet another twin dragon attack, this time in the fields north of Whiterun. One was fighting a giant I spotted and was about to go for the kill. The other just landed near me and caught me by surprise. The giant fought off one of the dragons while I fought the other. Unfortunately, in the end, I had to kill the giant. In my defense, he attacked me first.

It's mostly been an armor-centric kind of day. Shops are starting to sell glass armor on rare occasions and I managed to get an (almost) full set of it, except the helmet. Yesterday, a guard casually mentioned that travelers were disappearing south of Dragonsbridge and it flagged a cave south of the miserable little hamlet. Decided to clear the place out. And lo! At the end, there was a Glass helmet. Ugh, there were falmer in the cave though.

Once again, made Mjoll my follower. Talk too much, anyone? I also discovered that I'm just not cut out to be a tank player, especially with the set up I have now (Illusion, One Handed Weapons, Enchanting, Alteration, Light Armor are the skills I'm mostly choosing key perks in). Tried to use J'Zargo as a follower for a bit. It didn't go well.

Expend 2 perks to learn Soul Siphon? Haven't been using an enchanted weapon because I just don't go for the whole "recharge with soul gems" thing, but if I got this perk, it would be let me be at least a little lazy with charging it. Bah, though. Apparently, using Elemental Fury shout counts as putting an enchantment on your weapon. So I can't use an enchanted weapon with that shout. And Elemental Fury is my current favorite shout too...

Recharging with soul gems isn't that big of a hassle in my experience. I wouldn't burn two perks just to get soul siphon if I were you. If you hold onto the gems you find you'll eventually be up to your ears in soul gems, and then it's just a matter of keeping a weapon with Soul Trap on hand to fill them from time to time as needed.

                                Last Night in Skyrim:

Well my reroll as a Nord Female, heavy armor, 2 handed killing machine is almost complete. I finished up the Mage story quest (LOL) and now have my own residence and was able to save the 5k that the shmuck in Whiterun wanted to charge me. I'm level 18 now, with 50ish heavy armor and 2 handed skills. It's nice being a brawler, because armor skills up alot faster, lol... My smithing is around 65, working my way towards the 80 for ebony armor. I tell you what, this Nord chick looks hot in a full set of Orcish Armor. Oh, and I found that smelter in Whiterun, thanks guys! Next I'm off to do the Greybeard questline to strengthen my shouts. It's kind of funny, running through the dungeons with my 2 handed weapon drawn and ready for action, I RARELY lose shouts, and when i do, i normally miss, LOL... After the Greybeard questline, I'll probally start the warrior quests in Whiterun, Windhelm, and Solitude I never particpated in when I was a mage earlier. As far as heavy armor goes, does each upgrade just keep getting better and better? Dragon > Daedric > Ebony > Orcish? Thats what I would assume, but with only 10 points seperating the Dragon, Daedric, and Ebony, why would you even go for the Daedric if you can just power through 10 levels of blackssmithing to get to Dragon? I'm still looking for a weapon that will capture souls because I'm tired of switching to soul trap and then swithing back to the 2 handed weapon for the kill. It would be a lot nicer to just keep on swinging, lol... Well kind of just realized I didnt have any good stories, so i shouldnt have started the post out as if i was going to tell a great story that happened in Skyrim like Ketaru did... Should've started out, bored at work, constant stream of though about Skyrim, lol...
