    Tonight in Skyrim:

    Thalmor stupidity at it's best.

A Thalmor Justiciar saw me (the Thalmor Slaughterer of Skyrim) shout a Blood Dragon to death. His reaction? Walk up to me and try to order me to leave while trying to look as menacing as possible weapon drawn and all.

He spent his last moments in Skyrim frozen to the bone dying a very, very slow and painful death.

        Tonight in Skyrim:

A showdown with Otar the Mad. And by "showdown" I mean "lots of kicking and screaming and running the hell away".

Dragon priests wielding lightning are absolutely brutal against a mixed build like the one I'm currently running. They chew through my summons in no time flat and I can't approach them because those lightning blasts will take me down just as fast. The Grey Beards are some sadistic practical jokers to send me after a word wall behind a Dragon Priest as my very first one. I ended up unlocking Otar and then just dashing to the word wall and then high-tailing it out of there while my frost atronach kept him distracted. Here's hoping Otar doesn't find his way to the surface any time soon.

You may want to go back to collect his drops later, though. Dragon Priests can be nasty.

            Tonight in Skyrim:

            Level 29
Completed the College of Winterhold questline
Up to the point in the main story where I got to look for Alduin's Wall
Found Mjoll the Lioness's sword and made her my follower. Ugh, she talks a lot.
Became Thane of Winterhold. Not that it means much, seeing as it hardly counts as a town and there isn't even a house to buy.

EDIT: Then again, if you become a student at the College, you do get a dormitory. And if you finish the quest line, you get housing that doubles as a magical workshop.

You cure it by drinking a potion, or if you are already a vampire there was a quest to remove it.

You can also get a blessing from one of the Divines, that should cure it too.

I ran into some Stormcloak camps and some camps of another army. They were both peaceful, so I didn't know which ones to kill. Is it bad that I'm that far off the main sotry line I don't known whats going on? I'm just going from town to town, doing side quest by side quest... Stormcloaks are the rebels or the guys wanting to take over Skyrim? BBQ i need your lore help! Who are you supporting?

If you are wondering which side to choose and want to base it on good vs evil, I'll just tell you they are both asshats. Bethesda did a pretty decent job of making both sides equally douche(y?).

Stormcloaks are rebels but you could also consider them patriots (kinda U. S. vs Brittain 1700's). The Empire is an invader but you could also consider their actions to be international policing (kinda U.S. vs Iraq/Afghanistan recently). There really is not a good or bad side so far that I've found. Maybe others could enlighten me to if there actually is a good side or an evil side and what the underlying motivations really are...
