Because unlike the mailman in Zelda Twilight Princess the courier doesn't interrupt you business just to waste your time.

Or maybe he does, but he got to me eventually I was out on a quest. It directed me to a dragon and another word of power.

Which helped me complete Throw Voice, which I still haven't really found a use for.

Playing on the PS3 myself I experienced a few freezes at the 10MB mark and now I'm up in the 11MB range the difference is really noticeable. Frequent freezes requiring a restart and error check, FPS down to single digits for seemingly no reason, and dragons just flying around at right angles in the sky unwilling to fight me. I'm torn between rerolling (which appears to wipe all progress on existing characters gg there) or stomping in to the store I bought it from and demanding a refund on the grounds the game is unfit for purpose. I mean, it is so painfully broken on the PS3 it's beyond a joke.

It's frustrating because the game is massively enjoyable and I want to play it every free moment I have.

Started playing Skyrim over the weekend. Figuring it was just like any other game in the series... I wandered blindly out into traffic so to speak. I walked into the first dungeon/cave I could find and got murdered. The first 3-4 enemies were easy to kill all at once with the same tired/old method of running back and forth while you hit and they wiff. Then I ran into a Dwemer robot... and it nearly annihilated me. I'm not used the the enemies not scaling to your level in difficulty. I managed to kill it, but not before using up every one of my potions... and gaining 2 levels in the process.

This game and I... we're going to get along just fine.

Only you would enter a Dwemer ruin filled with crazed automatons. XD

At least you didn't bump into a centurion Master. Then you would've ended up as some Falmer's meal.

It is a cool sword but unfortunately I did that quest after having crafted my daedric swords so I don't think I've even swung it once. Looks nice on the weapon rack though.

I rerolled as a mage for my next playthrough and sure enough all 13MB of my saved dumner sneaky bastard was wiped out. Great game but I could kidney punch the person who let that slip through.

Killing enemies in one hit wasn't much fun for me after the first dungeon pwnage. So ever since I stopped upgrading weapons and only worked with quested ones my time/fun coefficient skyrocketed.

Wait, are you playing on a PS3 too?

I'm very surprised of the amount of people playing Skyrim on a console. Specially considering how good the PC version is compared to them and that it doesn't really take more horsepower than New Vegas.

PPS > Dawnbreaker will burn any opponents it hits, and will also make undead explode sometimes, which either sends nearby undead flying away or makes them run away from you at full speed.

In places like Dead man's respite Dawnbreaker and a fire cloak (I used J'zargo's XD ) can make for a nice light show.

The only downside is that because Elemental Fury is considered an enchantment it wont work with Dawnbreaker. But then again that shout is too overpowered anyway.

Also, I've taken a liking for killing dragons using shouts onry.

Dragons must've had very interesting debates once upon a time. XD

                        Patch 1.3 Notes:

                        General stability improvements
Optimize performance for Core 2 Duo CPUs
Fixed Radiant Story incorrectly filling certain roles
Fixed magic resistances not calculating properly
Fixed issue with placing books on bookshelves inside player purchased homes
Fixed dragon animation issues with saving and loading
Fixed Y-look input to scale correctly with framerate

                        -------------

Now that was kinda unexpected. The speed I mean.

Although they probably broke something else anyway.

It's worth upgrading and enchanting weapons for the cash you get by selling them on.

Also the best weapons and armour are intended to be used in Master mode where you NEED all of that overpowered shit. It's basically like the Spectre weapons in Mass Effect: OP as hell in Easy-Hard then bloody well required for every single party member on Insanity.

Basically it's my way of telling you to bump up the difficulty a little bit if you're finding certain parts a bit easy with high level gear.

Oh, you mean like killing Dragons only by using a shout? Seriously, how can that be done anyways. I'm level 9 as of last night, destruction magic up to 36, and the only shouts i have are the ones that push people back, ethereal, and super fast run, lol...

I'll fiddle a bit with the difficulty settings tonight.

But I'm not sure things will change much unless AI becomes smarter at higher difficulty. Otherwise it will be the same all over again, just with higher dmg values.

                              PS > I can't kill a dragon with a single shout, at least not yet. So I have to run around and evade it's attacks while the shout is ready again. Although I did lower the cooldown times using the console when I noticed I was rarely using shouts because they just took too long to recharge and by the time they were ready again I just didn't need them anymore. <_<;
