So, I started (but never saved) a Skyrim file while bored at my friend's pace yesterday.
After forgetting the abominable Elder Scrolls interface for a time and escaping the dragon Godzilla with that stormcloak guy, I proceeded to freely roam the countryside while heading towards the arrow marker thing that was apparently telling me the only place of importance to me right now. I was leaping from rock to rock . . . and then I died.
From a moderate-looking jump at best.
As a supposedly-agile cat.
Later, my friend discovered that he could kill an entire line of people (imperials escorting a prisoner in the night) simply by yelling at them off a shallow incline. (He didn't want to kill the prisoner, so he reloaded.)
Conclusion: gravity in Skyrim takes no prisoners.

Reason: In hindsight, Godzilla probably regrets interrupting the execution of the Godzillaborn.

However much I am actually smart, I got that way by confronting how stupid I am.
I wear full heavy armor, and took the perk "cushioned" to waive 50% of the damage i would normally incur from jumping off cliffs. I'm pretty safe now, just doing huge leaps off balconies and large cliffs. And yes, I have found a cliff that's too alrge for that 50% cushion...

Seems like the ranged kill cam only triggers on occasion and only if you stick to first person. The change to underwater effect is incredibly good. Its blurry enough to seem like you're looking around underwater, but no longer so obscured you can't see shit down there.
I watched the video detailing the Kinect support. It's looks pretty damn awesome. The shout thing is neat but I am not memorizing a fake language... but the other voice commands they included really seem to make Skyrim more streamlined. The commands you can use with your followers look awesome. Also the quick change for your equipment would really be welcome. The sorting of your inventory in various ways also appealed to me as I am a Skyrim Hoarder.
I'm too into Dark Souls atm to get back into Skyrim but I can't wait. Especially cuz I'm moving in with my gf and she's got a Kinect.
Any opinions expressed are my own, and potentially unpopular with others. Should this be upsetting, maybe, read it again, insert smiley faces, rainbows, and glitter as needed.
Was making a "Pauper" Commander deck for Magic (I'd go in to more details on my recent MTG kick in a new thread if so desired), and I just ordered most of the cards necessary yesterday.
Of course, just as soon as I saw that this was a thing, it was basically an auto-include for the lulz.
