What about Bastok? Huh? I'm confused...

I guess I was just more conservative with my use of lock picks then. I never bothered to burn so many on chests that were way above my abilities. I passed over a lot of master chests early on when opening them would indeed have cost me 20 lock picks. But for reals, they are everywhere. On bandits, laying around on tables, in dressers, as rewards inside chests you just picked open, not to mention just about every single person in the game has some on them just waiting for you to pick pocket if you feel so inclined.

It, admittedly, was a bad joke having to do with FFxi and Cid who lives in Bastok.

Yeah... I didn't do much pickpocketing early on. And I only pickpocketed enough to get the extra pockets perk. But I'd burn through those picks like nothing flat. I only missed one Master lock early on... then I attempted and opened a Expert lock so I figured I'd be able to get the Masters. So that essentially caused me to want/need more picklocks.

Ugh... I hate that this might fuel a Pony-a-thon but I know several people on here might get a kick out of it. Didn't seem to need a new topic either.

All NPC text was literally halfed. Dragons no longer fly... think of it more like the movie Tremors. When you press forward on the controller/keyboard you go to the left. When you want to turn left you go right. When you want to go right you go slantways. When you want to go backward you attack. When you attack you pull up the inventory menu. When you pull up the inventory menu a message comes up that insults your momma. Backwards is no longer possible.

Nothing game breaking really...

That's gonna be the deal breaker for me. I'm picky like that. Time to go play some FFXI then I suppose.

I got to the point where he tried to use thrall summoning as part of his argument and gave up in disgust. Yes the word apparently does have Scandinavian origins, but I'd hardly call that conclusive given how the word has developed into more common fantasy setting parlance. Seriously, Vampire Thralls? An entire creature type in Magic: the Gathering? Sure, it's totally a direct reference to the word's 'viking origins', and not simply using it in a more contemporary sense given the fantasy world context.

Oh I'm sure there was(like the bit about the Jarls). I just didn't bother watching past that point because I wasn't really enjoying the video and that part bothered me enough to turn it off. It didn't help that the guy doing the video doesn't exactly have a good voice for radio.
