    for now, um, try that Dragonball Online mmorpg, I heard the Taiwanese servers are in beta now. It might be easier to get in than the Korean servers.

    They are removing the AOE toggle in FFXIV....stupid move... and I dont play MMORPGs I can not read

      Rather old but City of Hero’s was a cool game (if that’s considered and mmorpg). If I had a little extra funds (and perhaps time) I’d hit that up once in a while.
      I remember I got a lot of complients on my hero too.

        I would have to say to get Guild Wars if you want a decent Buy to Play MMORPG.

        Once you buy it, its free, and has a decent community, and a great story line. Low end PCs can run it, and its got a great PVP system in it. Not the gear based crap there is now, but actual skill is used.

          I can't believe I didn't even think about Guild Wars. o_O;

          I have an account (should I remember the info) I got a long time ago when a friend got me to try it out. I was still much into XI at the time so really didn't get into the game, but it may be worth the try along with other games.

          PS > I have the feeling City of Heroes is more or less like DCUO (which I got bored of relatively fast) so I'm going to wait some time till I give the super hero MMOG genre another try. XD

            I still log on once in a great while, so I could go along with you. Beat the game a couple times, just don't like how there isn't much end game. Its just farming lol

              a MMO that can be beat and has no real endgame? that sounds more like a dungeon crawler to me ^.^

                  It kinda is. Its based around PVP. There IS end game, where you can farm a bunch of money, and materials to get speciality armor (Only looks different.), and it is pretty fun if you have the right people with you in the zones.

                    I still play Guild Wars fairly regularly. I've done the on-and-off thing too, but recently they announced that achievements you earn in the game will give you rewards in Guild Wars 2, so I've gotta get all those achievements now of course.

                    If you don't want to buy all the expansions, I'd suggest doing the original game and the "Eye of the North" expansion. Those are the best ones in my opinion. Just keep in mind that if you want to have the best skills, you may need to purchase the other two expansions as well.

                      Yea, Prophocies, Pre-Searing is always fun. But it is a good game though. EOTN is great, but if you want an easy time, you should get all the expansions.

                        Guild Wars has no persistent world so it isn't really a proper MMO. I recall it being rather difficult to meet people in-game.

                          Not at all when it first started, and you just need to go to the right towns.

                              Most of the towns are really dead, except for the main cities such as Lions Arch, and the farming towns.

                              The PVP areas are always full of people, and some times the chat box is none stop moving.

                                You either find a group before you start playing or you're completely alone forever. I tried finding people via forums back when I was trying to get into it and that just led to crazy people.
