oh ya, Spira blowing up was kind of funny, well not really but still first time in FF where world can blow up.


Final Fantasy VI had multiple endings, even though it was generally the same result, there's a HUGE difference between Shadow not surviving, and being in the airship with Relm, and other possible outcomes, mew.

They still are multiple endings!

Take Resident Evil for example, at least one person makes it to the helicopter. And there are variety of outcomes (2 survive, 3 survive. Mansion blows up, mansion doesn't blow up, etc.) , so ya FFVI different outcomes still counts as multiple endings, mew.

some outcomes change things more than others, but they are still multiple different results.

yeah I remember that in X-2, I was pissed when I found out I would not get the "real" ending because I did not do this one little thing, that I was given no in game info about what so ever.

X-2 was also one of the few games to have New Game Plus, though, and the battle system was fun enough that I didn't really mind a second run at it.

FFVI did not have multiple endings - how you rebuilt the party with Celes as mostly up to you, but it did not change the ultimate ending, much less diminish the fact that while optional Terra was the true protagonist of the game. She was the perfect foil to Kefka, everything he wanted. He wanted a successor to his destructive nature since he knew his fall was inevitable.

Ok, enough VI spoilers lol, I just bought it on the Virtual Console and have yet to complete it. A huge fail that I haven't completed it yet, I realize, but one that I'm trying to remedy.
