Dunno where to put this since it covers 3 games, but here is this months cover of Dengeki



Originally it was supposed to be 1 from each game, but Nomura didn't like Noel by himself. Adding just Lightning seemed out of place so he added Serah too. Rem and Serah were originally frowning, but they were changed to add balance. No real reason to pick Machina and Rem over the others, he just did. Noctus was for the cool effect.

Of course Serah would appear there too! She's just as much the MC in FFXIII-2, mew! (even though the MC role seems somewhat shared.)

This a recap site for 13. There is really no point to this other than that the final option is a timeline of the events pregame and during the game. And below that for each section of timeline are FF6 style sprites of the 13 cast acting out the scenes.

Wait, FFXIII had a story? All I can remember is a hazy fog of terrible voice acting and nonsense gibberish about Fal'Cie. Oh, and random grunting noises from Vanille in every cutscene.

it had a story, mew! And Vanille is very positive and uplifting and important in the story, mew! It actually is very emotional story, but ya the classes/roles were pretty bad and shallow compared to better ones in series and some of the most boring side missions. FF12 has way more interesting monsters and level design, mew.

I liked it until the novelty wore off,
13 was bad very bad, I'd rather have to play through X-2 again.
14 bad too.
I think I'm going off SE games.
Maybe games in general.

I like my Rpg's old fashoined to a degree. I wish they'd give us something like Xenogears, Wild arms, Suidoken, Breath of fire, The older final fantasy's.
Not everything needs wild button mashing to get through. I can't say since I got my 360 a single game I played I've enjoyed to an extent where I'd say "you got to play it"
I know I should move with the times as games advance but even modern rpg's feel more like call of duty.

I used to see rpg's as 'interactive books ' in a sense.

well Type 0 is in very good hands, it's the only true Final Fantasy this generation besides FFXI, mew.

FFXIV is getting up there too.

I just looked over the first page of this topic, and the only thing i liked a about it was the Rita Mordio siggy "blah blah blah tidal wave!" and the mewing jenova... thats just creepy. ahah no but really i cant wait for 13-2, i was told that there tweaking the battle system abit to make it more interesting, i certainly hope so! :D but the screenshots look epic!
