    Don't DL it yet: Fallout New Vegas 360 patch needs a patch

    PSA: Don't download the new Fallout: New Vegas patch yet!- Destructoid

    Just posting this because, you know, Fallout New Vegas is a perfect game with no bugs in it.

    Seems the 360 version's new patch is causing all kinds of weird shit to happen in the game and its expansions, so you might wish to avoid downloading it. Bethesda says they will be addressing the matter "as soon as humanly possible."

    This is an issue on Microsoft's side, not Obsidian's.

      If its a problem on MS's side, why is Bethesda the one addressing the issues? Apparently Bethesda was contacted for comment and they said they'd be addressing the issue.

      Also, I kinda doubt this has anything to do with what MS did. They don't alter game content - they just put it on the service.

            Right, its someone else's fault, not Bethesda's.

            How on earth would MS do anything to alter the code? Its just their job to put it up. Do you shoot the messenger?

            Anyway, who could expect anything ess from Obsidian + Bethesda than bugs?

            It would be like teaming Valve and Nintendo teaming up on a Zelda game... but in that case the only thing that would be certain was that it would never come out.

              So, in this situation, you're telling me that even though I work for them and know exactly what the issue was that I'm wrong and it's somehow the publisher's fault? Am I understanding this correctly?

                  And why was this article written three hours ago? This issue occurred when the patch went live yesterday, and is currently resolved. You can tell your Dtoid buddies it's ok to play FNV again.

                  I'll give you a little credit, though. That chimp picture made me chuckle. Way too many people around here taking too many smoke breaks.

                        Who the hell cares who's at fault? Broken game is broken. Don't download the patch until another patch is released to address the issues.
