All I know was that some study was done in Japan where many people who would be considered pedophiles in America were just looked at as "eccentric" there. The other issue is that "moe" is considered a nouveau haute couture amongst the younger population which is just an excuse to make pedophile an accepted practice (or enabling it "legal" fashion since the Japanese have a weird sense of "legal" when viewed through the lens of societal and personal morality)

Fortunately, a few of the Yakuza would beg to differ as they've mete their own justice regarding pedophilism by instituting mandatory castration of those who get caught.

There is one grain of sense in Raydeus's argument that I think is worth supporting. The reasoning that "This drawing of an underage girl looks sexual to me, therefore the artist sexualized this underage girl" does not necessarily follow.
