RE.Revelations demo is up on 3DS eShop.

To say the least it plays like RE4, but thinks like the older games. No enemies droppin ammo and they're stringing you along on ammo in general. The demo starts out in a mansion-esque scenario with one familiar throwback. Its got the atmosphere and music and some appropriate moments that will make you jump a little or run the other way.

The demo didn't highlight any strafing, but the full game is supposed to have it, for all the good it does you in narrow corridors. I have to admit I like that sick kind of thinking.

"OK, fine, we'll let you move and shoot, but we're taking away those open areas you want to do that in."

Still, I don't know if I can get behind a $50 price tag for a 3DS game, even if it boasts a console-level experience. MGS Snake Eater 3D promises that too and its priced more normally. Devil Survivor 2 is a monster of a game and its still cheaper. Those are some of the big ones next month.

My RE:CV knife-only runs are a testament to that (well, that and abusing the ability to knock zombies to the ground by hacking their knees rofl) but seriously in a lot of sections in the first few games you could easily run around the zombies except in the most confined of spaces.

Spec Ops DLC next week! 1st Mission is free, mew! And it includes story cameos of Jill, Carlos, Sherry and maybe more!

Ya it has been criticized but Operation Raccoon City is successful and played by many that like it!

So ya it's kind of like Zelda and Metroid games, you either hate them or like them, mew.

That is not troo, mew!!!! The campaign is actually better and more replayable than Resident Evil 4 and 5! And the versus is better than Left 4 Dead! Many people admit it's more fun than RE2 and RE3 too!

Those are stupid people with no respect for the franchise's accomplishments and enjoy teabagging each other. Also, nothing is better than RE2 and RE4, though REmake and Revelations come close.

um, this is a Resident Evil shooter, mew. Expecting it to be traditional survival horror is like expecting Mario RPG to be a traditional platformer.

But you know mew, it still stands that even RE fans are playing Operation Raccoon instead of RE2 or whatever Resident Evil you think is best. They aren't the best anymore if people are playing Operation Raccoon instead of those Resident Evils, mew. People should expand their preferences in fun and entertainment, then they can understand it's a good Resident Evil! It even has infection and more realistic zombie changes, which is something that the classic REs don't have because the characters are protected by what people call "plot armor", which doesn't help them be better zombie games, mew.

Operation Raccoon is the first authentic zombie RE game in a long time, mew.
