Agreed, RE3 was the last genuinely scary game (not counting the remake of RE1 which is far more terrifying than the original) at least on the first playthrough due to the constant paranoia of being ambushed by Nemesis.

Revelations is looking pretty promising, i think. ORC is multiplayer, so I don't expect it to be terribly frightening.

But Revelations is moving back to the ol' narrow corridor schtick, which is helped by the fact its on a tanker out in the ocean. RE4 had the atmosphere and newness to it to let it get away with a lot of what it did. RE5 taking the same action set piece romp and adding nothing to it wasn't the best of ideas. I think Revelation's restrictive setting will help out a great deal.

Its actually rather funny that they're going back to narrow corridors. For years and years people begged for RE to let them move and shoot at the same time. Revelations is giving them that, but with those corridors its not going to mean a lot

For one the game looked pretty good to me, but also, who do people always for get that with multiplayer games, there is always a small sometimes big (depending on the game) hit is visual quality, due to the fact that is is multiplayer (6+ anyway)
