River City Ransom 2 is a thing, coming this Summer- Destructoid



Just got announced. Japan-only so far, though I'm sure there will be a western version as its a DLC game and a retro-themed sequel with online co-op would be welcomed on any console.

Never played it, but I hear the Scott Pilgrim game is basically a modern River City Ransom, so I guess I have something to look forward to.

Well for Japan its confirmed as a WiiWare exclusive coming this summer, that doesn't totally say what the plans for a US version would be, though a Wii version would likely be in the cards.

I loved Rivercity Ransom. Like loooved it.
So basic yet so cool.

I’d honestly be happy with the same graphics but a more in-depth story line. I was always the cool guy with the blue shirt (Ryan right? Or was it Alex…it’s been a while)
