I don't recall giving a strong endorsement to the game, I just said it looked like Homefront and Brink were interesting contenders with fresh ideas. I'd still not discount Brink, as what I've seen of it seems to suggest it was the stronger of those two - I just liked some of the multiplayer ideas for Homefront,

IGN is bought and paid for by Activision or MS so often you can't trust a review they put out on an FPS. Joystiq is small time to these publishers, so they don't bother with them, so maybe they have some credibility.

I still can't get over how absurd the premise of the game is. North Korea invades the U.S. and takes over? Bullshit. Never, ever, ever gonna happen. Reminds me of MW2's similar bullshit with Russia invading - Once again, NATO says hi. As if that weren't enough, need I remind ya'll that Germans are our friends now? And we all know what happens when you fuck with Germany...
Its called historical fiction, it can be implausible as it wants to be. The timeline for Homefront is full of laughable problems.

Halo is real, though. That shit could happen.

Oh, and do yourself a favor and forget about Brink.

Yeah you're right, I just saw the ad.

        It said Bethesda on it.

That's a shame, it had so much potential before I associated it with them.

BGS didn't make the game, Splash Damage did. It's their first foray into not only the land of original IPs, but console games as well. Traditionally, they're a bunch of modders, so this is a big first step for them. Unfortunately, they stumbled quite a few times, but, all-in-all, it's a step forward for them.

For all we know there's an invasion force already on the way and it's just a matter of time when they arrive. Could be tomorrow, could be a 1000 years from now.

              Talk about stumbling corporations...

Did Ubisoft pirate its own soundtrack for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood PC?
