Oh mew! 5 players? I wonder if that means there will be 5 players co-op too? Ya the industry needs more large group co-op stuff.

"From Software announced Armored Core V for PS3 and Xbox 360, the latest work of the mech battle series. The game will have online multiplayer support, players can form their own teams and battle against other teams online; each team can have up to 5 players, and one player is the commander, the commander will have his own set of command menus."

Hmm that seems only competitive. Did they drop the co-op from For Answer? All missions should support co-op online this time, mew, then maybe it would convince me to buy a Armored Core game. xD

Also, Armored Core is great, I still haven't played For Answer though. Watch some vids, looks fast as shit. I'm a little excited.

I just hope they scaled back the menus a bit. AC4 and even For Answer were seriously overkill on the menus when building your own AC. I do not need to be able to adjust exactly how my AC's chest pivots! Dear lord, simplify and streamline the building process please.


I thought Last Raven had the best set up personally, with regards to tuning and everything else. There was a good deal of customization but it wasn't overwhelming. I only want to have to focus on the major parts and make tiny adjustments to them as needed (spending tuning points & swapping parts) and not the extreme, minute details like said pivoting or the god damned angling of my FCS or whatever the hell other crazy crap that should be automated anyway was in there.

Do you think they will have cockpit view mode like in that rare Armored Core game on I think PS1? More games like this could benefit from cockpit view and still have good controls. I liked cockpit view in Starfox 64 and Colony Wars, mew. Make its feel more like you are driving it instead of like a remote controlled car. :3

heard that on this one they are focusing on firepower and not speed, as they pretty much maxed out speed in AC4A
