Even if the 360 has more memory the PS3 is waaay better, there's just no question about it.

Now, if Sony had the courtesy and common sense of adding more system memory (since it has a big impact on performance) on their next PS3 and PSP releases that would be very much appreciated. <_<

In terms of technical specs yes. As far as content goes that's all subject to opinion.

Still need the software to back it up (which thankfully it does). So umm, back to the actual topic - Who the hell is that dude next to Lightning and why does he resemble Laguna?

Where either console has a weakness, the other seems to have a strength. My biggest issue with the PS3 is that the firmware is so cold and sterile. It doesn't allow multiple players to sign into their accounts simultaeneously, and it hardly supports mobile profiles. The Xbox 360 is much warmer in this respect, allowing four players to sign in simultaeneously, allowing four players to use headsets simultaeneously, etc.

Just look at the Wii, it's the least powerful console in this generation and it kicked both the PS3 and 360's butts.

If we're going to consider the Wii as a gaming platform, we might as well consider Facebook, too. We're better off ignoring both.

Because it's primary function is to print money for Nintendo. They develop consoles so they can recycle their line-up of iconic characters. Why? Money. It's the same reason I don't consider most "musicians" to be artists; their entire existence and all resulting products are formulated by a group of people for the sole purpose of making money. So what if some third-party developers had a few decent games published for it, it's still not worthy of being considered a platform for gaming.

I think the Facebook example pretty much explains it all.



I may dislike the 360 very much as a console, but it would be much more likely for me to buy one or two than a Wii, that's for sure. Thankfully most good 360 games do get ported to the PC, so there's no need for me to make such a sacrifice.

You say "better at making money" like it's a good thing. Who else is great at making money? EA and Activision. Both companies are devoid of integrity because they're essentialy video game factories. Nintendo is pretty close to that level of deplorability.

It's not the investment that entitles me to disliking them or the game, it's the experience of playing the game.
