  • If you cut a Final Fantasy, does it not bleed?

    http://www.finalfantasytype0.com/

This is a url SE has registered for a new game.

    FinalFantasyType0.com is a thing- Destructoid

Some new FF game on the horizon.

    Spin-off?
    Remake?
    Reboot?

Who knows? But later this month we'll know.

People keep saying "reboot" for some reason, but I tend to think that's what every Final Fantasy game is, really.

It's an RPG SHMUP mash up between Final Fantasy and R-Type Zero.

I like how the comments in that link are of people bashing it over just the name alone, calling it a fail game before they even know if it's a game or not.

Well, according a floor layout for the show SE is doing this month, the space its getting seems to suggest this is a rather big announcement, the other biggest space still has a ? on it and since no space is allotted for FFvxXIII, I'm guessing that's what the largest space will be dedicated to. That or Dragon Quest X.

Its about damn time we heard more about either, I'd think.

SE had a "Final Fantasy" title listed for 3DS at E3 and no other details than that. This Type-0 game could be that. They probably want to use this week's Nintendo 3DS event in Japan to show off their progress with KH3DS, if only in video form. There's going to be a lot of games vying for attention at the 3DS event, so a unknown game might get obscured within all the hype.

You can't reboot a series that (usually) doesn't follow a continuing story.

Unless they're rebooting FF7 and letting Zack live this time... then I'm all for that :3

No. No more FF7. Let it die.

Plus it seems Cloud lost it one day and became an assassin.

He took on Travis Touchdown. It didn't end well for Cloud.
