The point is to draw attention to the fact that this is a perpetuation of bad design. Left unchecked it continues to fester in the industry and the overall quality of shows goes down. When you can endlessly draw out fight sequences and throw together bad filler arcs without consequence, there is little less incentive to put together masterpieces such as Cowboy Bebop.

It's the old quality over quantity argument.

Well, if J9 would just stop posting...

Seems like she just buys games on the basis or brand names. Naruto's latest on PS3 is actually a good, competent fighter, but in seconds she'll be all about the next lousy anime game like stink on poo.

I love Ghost in the Shell, but the PS2 and PSP games sucked. I'm glad I only demoed them. They're nothing like the license attached to them. Section 9 isn't just about running and gunning are riding around in Tachikomas blasting shit.

There's some sleuthing involved. The show is a crime drama. You can't just trim the action down to Motoko when you've got Batou, Togusa, Saito, Boma and the rest with things they could do besides shooting people.

Then again, Deus Ex does fill the void on all those little things the GitS games don't do.
