And just when you thought all was right in the world because he got MML3 to happen.

Much of Capcom's original creative talent is now totally gone. I'm hoping they have some new blood waiting in the wings. I'm hoping the teams they have cutting their teeth on stuff like Okamiden and MML can prove they have what it takes to carry on these franchises Capcom has.

Otherwise, they may continue to outsource like they're now doing with DmC

In the meantime, Nintendo should grab Inafune up

well I think this means now Darkstalkers 4 has a chance of happening sooner. I heard Inafune was the main person against Ono's proposal for a new Darkstalkers, and since Inafune was the top of the top in what gets developed and what doesn't get developed, with him gone, maybe this might be a good thing?

But I wonder what will become of Mega Man Universe? Hmm and Mega Man Legends 3 is on its own....maybe Inafune was upset Capcom would only allow a low budget production of the game on a portable instead of a big budget title on console?

but ya that is kind of insane, ya he might be rich enough already but to give up a positive like that, it's a shame he isn't creative and smart enough to really make use of position to make something truly great for the gaming industry (but with just Megaman in his mind, no wonder he's strange.),


well, mew, we'll have to see what Capcom does with the Resident Evil series from now on, I don't like Dead Rising hogging the spotlight as Capcom's #1 "zombie series" these days. -.-;

Darkstalkers is the best fighting game no one plays.

Seriously, any time fighting games are brought up, everyone praises Darkstalkers, but when asked if they play it at a decent level, no one does. It's like... VF5 as well. Another game no one plays, but it's "the best".

Maybe he was forced to make a deal with the bigwigs of Capcom? Megaman Legends 3 in exchange for his resignation?
Or maybe he was upset Capcom didn't want to go 100% big budget with Megaman Legends 3 like they have with their biggest quality console games?

Well it is understandable if he's upset Megaman Legends 3, his #1 most wanted game to develop, was only allowed to be released on inferior hardware like the 3DS instead of PS3 and X360.

It's obvious, 3DS isn't enough to provide everything Inafune has imagined for Megaman Legends 3.

Imagine if Metal Gear Solid 4 was specificly made for a portable like PSP or even 3DS, there's no way it would have or be half as good as how it is on console.

Aww, Mega Man just won't be the same without Inafune's touch... much like Bungie is no longer in charge of Halo.

God damn it all, my most beloved child hood series can no longer be completed by it's creator. Well this pretty much seals the deal for me, fuck Capcom. Everything after MML3 and MvC3 can kiss my ass. With Inafune, Mikami and Kamiya gone I could really care less about what they do.


Though, how sick would be (since they're all freelance now) for those guys to team up with say, Kojima and make something epic?

Meh, grammatically correct or not my point stands - Without their top talent in the company anymore, I don't give a rat's ass what Capcom does now pending MvC3 and MML3.

Mega Man is being milked to death, Dead Rising 2 is uninspiring, I've already made my feelings about new Dante quite vocal, Resident Evil 5 was a flop and I don't like the new action oriented focus that 4 brought about (even though 4 was done by Mikami) and.... Well, I guess that's it. I didn't play SF4, but then I wasn't that interested in it anyway. Oh yeah the Bionic Commando remake was garbage too.


So yes, rot in hell Capcom, rot in the hell of your own making. And at the rate they're going, SE won't be far behind you.
