  • Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition coming to US

Mario All-Stars US Bound - Wii News at IGN

If you're familiar with the SNES version, that's more or less what this game is:

    SMB
    SMB 2 USA
    SMB 2: The Lost Levels
    SMB 3

If you're unfamilar with the collection and wondering what the difference is here, its that unlike the versions you could just download off Virtual Console that these were 16 bit remakes.

Included in the package is a soundtrack CD spanning from SMB to Super Mario Galaxy 2 along with an art book that covers the same range.

This will be available in limited quantities on Dec. 12 for thirty bucks.

ssoooooooo its just a Wii port of the SNES game of the same name.... ok......

I would have gladly paid 50 if they had redone them all in NSMB style, at least then it would have made more sense

It's still pretty cool though, I might get it for the "its Mario's 25th" thing

I'm sure they've updated the interface for the game, maybe added unlockables, but yeah, its not going to be much more than the 16-bit remakes, it seems.

I'm mostly just getting it because its a collectible and because it falls in like with all the other 2D releases Nintendo has been doing of late.
