$300 is what it is in US dollars in terms of yen, though. Could be $274.99 could be $299.99. US and EU prices haven't been finalized by Nintendo and I'm sure Nintendo will toss in some Nintendo Points card or a few games already installed to sweeten the deal.

So jack that up at least another $50 here in Canada. Yeah, I want a 3DS, but I'm not getting one any time soon. And I still want 1 & 2 put up on PSN.

nuuuuuu I was exaggerating. Even a 20" TV is better than what NDS has. >.<

with $300 I could get a good HDTV for my PS3.

But that's nowhere near as portable as a 3DS is, not to mention those don't play games by themselves..

The point here is bringing the joy of people's favorite games and allowing them to be taken anywhere. Seems a lot of people liked Megaman Zero Collection for the DS. And was all GBA games on a DS cart, not even using the full aspect ratio of the DS's top screen. People paid of a game that was inferior to the specs of the DS itself.

That's almost like how people paid money to play 8-Bit Megaman games on thier PS3, 360 or Wii.

I'm sure this "portable Megaman game" thing has legs.

There's a workaround for that.

Its called the internet.

And this thing apparently can search and connect to any open hotspot for updates, data sharing and such even while you're not using it.

Fun fact, often people that rob you tend to know you and things about you. Same goes for muggings. These aren't always random acts.

Not to mention that, for whatever reason, handhelds are still deemed kids toys by society. While that might change with 3DS, I doubt it will for a while.

Back on topic, looks like they're doing an art contest among the dev team to pick the design for a new female character, and we can vote.

I'm leaning towards Hideki Ishikawa's tan girl design (always been a fan of his art,) but Tatsuya Yoshikawa's looks nice too. Higurashi's character has the neat Legends-style mecha hands/feet going for it, but it's just too goddamned underaged for my tastes. Inafune's is a bit too reminiscent of Roll.

dammit. D-Toid had some video links for MML3 but then the site went down (again). They've been revamping the site the last couple of days. seems they're still not done.

Also, Mal, you seem rather adamant about MML and MML2 getting rereleased, but no love for The Misadventures of Tronne Bonne?

I'm glad that the 3DS is getting solid titles but that was a no brainer, its Nintendo. I probably won't be buying a 3DS though...at least for a while. Maybe I'll let my son buy one and then I'll just play his because he tires of his shit in a couple months. lol
