music is to loud and some what distorted compared to the sound effects, other then that is looks good.

He was doing pretty well right up until that boss fight... oh well.

Looks cool, sucks that they have shared life though. I'd like to see how Grant and what's her face (Sylvia or something?) play.

shared life is a good thing because that's how the original was, it kept things challenging. Of course, I wouldn't mind separate life energy for both characters, but then it would be farther from the original difficulty.

It seems this remake is more forgiving already because Alucard looked like he fell into a pit fall during the boss fight but only took damage instead of losing a credit.

Either give it the Rondo of Blood treatment (I really liked the PSP remake) or leave it as it was.

Damn I can't wait for that. If nothing else because it's narrated by freaking Patrick Stewart! And sure the PS2 games may not have been as successful as SotN or the DS titles (minus circle of the moon... good god that one was bad) but I loved them.

I still think LoI was one of the best in series, and would like to see them try harder with one of the classic characters again. SotN kinda left things on a cliff hanger with Maria chasing after Alucard (who then reappears in the two Soma titles what the crap...)

Speaking of which, there was that whole World War 3 crap that happened with Humanity vs Dracula that was just briefly mentioned in those games. Umm... what? That's a pretty huge event Konami. Why no game about it?

it wasn't world war 3, just another war similiar to Castlevania 3 where Trevor and some others banded together to defeat Dracula.

the huge event is the 1999 battle when Julius went to defeat Dracula once and for all. There's no game yet because IGA is probably planning to make it 2-D for consoles with sprites made from scratch.

I sincerely hope if they ever make Julius' game they will take the exact same team that made the RoB remake.

And please for the love of Vampire Killer, let Kojima Ajami do the character designs for this one too. (Aria of Sorrow-like characters of course, the anime style doesn't fit Castlevania at all imo)

DXC was too stiff, awful animations and really bad designs, mew. Backgrounds and characters look better drawn and animated in 2-D for 2-D gameplay.

And I really hate how they ruined Richter and Maria's appearances in the Rondo remake (as well as the rest of the cast. The only one that looked decent was Dracula, but he's hard to screw up.)

Remake Richter looks like a fruitcake, and Remake Maria looks like an alien eyed weirdo who was killed and brought back to life
using Hellman's Mayonnaise.
