Re: DMC Reboot - WTF is wrong with Capcom

this is the worst Capcom decision ever since Final Fight Streetwise.

the DMC fanbase better not buy into this, or the franchise is worse than doomed.

It doesn't matter how good the gameplay can be. Devs should never ruin Dante's identity and DMC's atmosphere, and the series especially never needed a reboot.

Oh well, Capcom is getting worse and worse. They shall sink while the better companies know better.
And Ninja Theory is committing reputation suicide.

I really hope you're being sarcastic.

Malacite, I honestly find you to be bitching just to bitch. Find me a gameplay video and then we'll talk. Also, your misunderstanding of the word "emo" annoys me, as he obviously looks more punk or grunge.

Side Note: Capcom may be overseeing the project, but a British company is still developing it.

The gameplay is ultimately the only thing that matters.

If you played this series for story and character - or the majority of Capcom's games, for that matter - you need your head examined.

            OK, so they're British >.>

            Still round-eyes there o.o

Wiki says Ninja Theory and Capcom Japan are having regular meetings over the games progress. I'm not terribly worried.

              Grabbed this from another forum:

only seen the trailer once, watch it again or even a 3rd time and you'll see that this 'Dante' already has white
hair (at the back) growing in indicating he probably did dye it to further hide his real identity.
I'm guessing that's based on material from the anime or comics.

“A true collaboration, DmC sees the team at Ninja Theory joined by key staff from Capcom’s R&D division. Creative direction for the title will be undertaken by Ninja Theory’s Tameem Antoniades and overseen by Hedeaki Itsuno, who has worked on all previous titles in the series. DmC is being co-produced by Capcom’s Japanese and North American development operations.”
