A Realm of Emptiness and J-E-N-O-V-A are a bit of a step down. They're not bad, but not as good as the originals.

OMFG are you kidding me? That is a horrible rendition of a great sound track... why couldn't they just use the original piece from the Promathia fight?

Most of the arranged stuff in the previous game was map fodder, so I imagine these sped-up arrangements exist for the same purpose. Perhaps now even moreso because there are about twice the tracks there were for battles, which is quite a bit. You can tell that piano take on the FFIV battle theme is very abridged and Realm of Emptiness gets right to the point rather that drag out its intro and middle portions.

Dissidia peaked at 1.2GB on download from PSN, which is pretty hefty for the type of game it is, so I'd imagine Dissidia Duodecim is a bit larger so these arrangements had to be tighter - you can kinda see where they're making cuts as it is.

Also, Alexander theme > Promathia theme. Glad its in there.

          That's Odin's Theme. Alexander's is Ragnarok.

Well, then, that's pretty poor name for a song about Odin.

Mal's sigs just keep getting worse and worse, but I have to agree that arrangement is garbage. The original song it 10 times better.

They're both really good, but yeah I did like the battle music for that fight better. All of the "final" boss battle themes in XI were pretty good actually (I like to include "Warriors of the Crystal" in that mix as well 'cause the Arc Angels were just bad ass).

Belief would have also been a good choice.

No images yet, but sources for the next magazine release have said Prishe's Third form is a Blue Swimsuit.

So uh, the Blue Clamming Suit?

That would actually be kinda funny - its not like Prishe really had multiple outfits anyway and it seems like Dissidia is saying Prishe is the "player" of FFXI anyway with half her Limit Break kinda being stolen from the players.

Additionally, Shantotto asks Prishe to help her in creating the "ultimate magic" at some point in Duodecim, which is what Shantotto asked of players in "Curses, Foiled A-Golem!?"

So even in Dissidia, Shantotto is pawning off grunt work to other people.

You'll also notice that in that quest, the Key Item is "Shantotto's Ex-Spell."

                      More leaked info

Gilgamesh's Ex-Form is almost identical to his multi-armed sprite.

                      Prishe's Ex-Form has her equipping Destroyer-style Cesti.

They are both unlocked after clearing both 012 cycle and 013 cycle, so transfer your data from Dissidia to get them faster.

                      800 MB for data install

HP attacks are easier to land in 012.

                      There is some planned DLC

012 is it. There is no more Dissidia of this style after it. There will be no rerelease in JPN because the NA/EU release is <month after it, so nothing will have been added or changed. If there is more, it will be in a different form.

Totally unlreated, Zipper man says he is working on getting BbS available for download. It is an issue that is not due to S-E, the house of mouse or Utada.

Well, if he's saying there's no sequel soon after this one, that's fine - he needs to go work on that FFvsXIII thing and get that done.

But there will totally be another Dissidia game, be it on NGP, 3DS or another platform. Too much of a goldmine in this one to pass up.

But if there's no issue with SE, Disney or Utada getting BBS on PSN, then what is the issue? It has to be something on Sony's end if its on none of those.

I don't think Don Bleuth has any work in there, in fact, Kingdom Hearts has really danced around his original works for Disney, so he couldn't make a fuss about anything (and if could, he totally would).

He is basically saying that if there is another Dissidia, it probably wont be a fighter. And there was no elaboration on the BbS issue.

                            ^ weak sauce.

I'd love to see a PS3 iteration for once with a much larger roster akin to MvC2.

Dissidia and Macross Ace/Ultimate Frontier really deserved a PS3 version of the games.

Also Valkyria 2, because the PSP version while ok just wasn't anywhere near as good as the original.

I don't know what else a crossover like this would lend itself well to, plus its already defined itself as an RPG/Brawler hybrid. Changing directions with something like this can be a bit risky given that's what people would expect from it.
