    Duke Nukem Forever Impressions: Two Girls, One Duke

    Hmmmm. Well at least this might be more fun than Prey was (which wasn't much fun at all.)

    But could it surpass Duke Nukem 3-D?

              Is it too much to hope that the new production company will let the release date slide a few times just for shits and giggles, or for old times sake?
              I use a Mac because I'm just better than you are.

                I'd be severely disappointed if they didn't. This is pretty much the perfect opportunity to renew the cycle for another generation.

                  Countdown timer appears on DNF site, is a few days off.
                  Countdown timer hits 0, reveals a prettier looking countdown timer set for a couple weeks away. They say they'll announce a release date at the end of the countdown.
                  Countdown timer reaches 0. Nothing happens. Company apologizes, says they didn't actually finalize release date.

                  After this, any pushed back releases are just bonus.

                      That works, but what I had in mind was something like they know the release date is August 2011, so announce release date of January 2011. Then let it slide to May, then in May have it slide to October. Then just go ahead and release it one day in August.

                            Pfft. We already learned that the 'Forever' in the title refers to how long it will take for the devs to release the title.

                            It's only been 13 years since this game was announced, so keep waiting--forever is a very, very long time.
