I've been planning on getting the game since I heard about it. I like how its Dynamic quest system instead of talk to a NPC get a wall of text and go do something they are too lazy to do themselves.

It's gonna be tough deciding whether to play this game, DCUO or TOR with my limited game time.

Though the current ranking is [GW2 > DCUO > TOR] mainly because BioWare isn't releasing many details about TOR.

I didn't care for the first Guild Wars so I doubt I'll be playing this one, unless they changed it to the point that I can't recognize anything from the first in this one. What was annoying was being on a server overcrowded with 10 year old Koreans and Chinese players whose only form of entertainment is to sit around near the entrances of any city/town and blast /say /shout with toilet humor, stale "gay porn" jokes and trying to flirt with obviously-trying-too-hard-to-be-a-girl players.

I didn't care for the first Guild Wars so I doubt I'll be playing this one, unless they changed it to the point that I can't recognize anything from the first in this one. What was annoying was being on a server overcrowded with 10 year old Koreans and Chinese players whose only form of entertainment is to sit around near the entrances of any city/town and blast /say /shout with toilet humor, stale "gay porn" jokes and trying to flirt with obviously-trying-too-hard-to-be-a-girl players.

When did you play? I played since it came out, until a few months ago, I never had that issue. The only problem with GW1, was that there was literally no end game to it.

I didn't play GW for long (had installation issues and went back to XI) but I never ever encountered any of that either.

When did you play? I played since it came out, until a few months ago, I never had that issue. The only problem with GW1, was that there was literally no end game to it.

Around Summer 2008? I forgot what expansion it was that just came out. I remember there was something about pre and post apocalypse? It was in the pre section that I encountered this while I was getting around in the game. A lot of players told me to not leave the pre section right away and try to stick it out but I got so fed up with the kind of people hanging out there that I just went into post and then had problems playing (due to being too low a level or something) and then I just ended up quitting a few days later.

Its Pre-Searing, and Post-Searing...

I never ran into anyone in Pre-searing.... Also, did you use henchmen? Otherwise, of course you would have died.

I wouldn't set myself up for disappointment unless you're really serious about the job.

Any word on whether or not they're bringing back Mesmers? That class confused the hell out of me but was really interesting at the same time, even if I was never any good at it. I'd like to see a return of the class devoted to enfeebling the bajesus out of the opponent.
