Vincent was never really a character in Persona 3, he was an easter egg placed in Persona 3 Portable. He didn't have a name or face in the PS3 version. If the game takes place on Tatsumi Port Island, then it will have a connection to Persona 3.

Also, according to what I've read of the game, it highly sexualized and more of a horror game otherwise.

I'm actually glad that they're not making a Persona game, they've had P3, P3FES, P3 Social, P3 Portable and Persona 4 these last few years. There doesn't need to be another Persona game for a couple of years. The team deserved a new project for all the Persona games they had to make these last four years. They've been living in Persona.

Shoji Meguro is doing the soundtrack to this game (he does almost all the SMT soundtracks) and I like the in-game graphic style so far, so color me interested.

Given the material Atlus likes to deal in and that this is a game by the Persona team, I going to assume Catherine is some kind of succubus. Atlus isn't above sexualizing their characters, but this seems a bit more over-the-top than usua. Unlike the ladies in SMT games, Catherine seems to have no dignity, she just wants to get it on.

Seems the game largely revolves around Vincent's dreams and this woman Catherine. And - perhaps just starting out - Vicent is able to interact with this dreams and he apparently has that "I show up to things in only my boxers" dream.

Whatever the case, it seems they've worked really hard at making the in-game graphics come very, very close to the concept art of the characters:. which is something I quite liked about Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga.



And that's the sort of thing I've been wanted to see from this generation of gaming, but haven't quite gotten to see a lot of. Atlus continues to impress me.
