GDCE 10: Chahi and Bel talk about Project DUST- Destructoid

I'm kinda left speechless by this concept. It veers toward Black and White or Doshin the Giant, but this is way more dynamic and, well, crazy than those games were. The terraforming elements, are much, much more hands-on

Dunno if many of you recall games like Out of This World/Another World (the name varies by territory), Flashback or Heart of Darkness, but the people behind those games are doing this one. Its going to be a downloadable title for PC, PS3 and 360.

That looks promising... I've been waiting for a Black & White sort of game for a while but to have terra-forming as a gameplay element sounds even more exciting than pulling trees out of the ground and throwing rocks around.

I only ever tried Doshin the Giant.

For some reason I could not keep the people that worshiped him happy and I think I stepped on a few of them. I think this is going more for an invisible hand approach, so people won't be stepped on, you'll just make lava come out of nowhere to burn them.

Looks very cool. Easily one of the best practical uses of some of the new computational physics solutions that have been developed over the past decade.

The trailer gave me more of a Populous feel than Black and White or Doshin the Giant though.
